I want to blog, but I have nothing to blog about. Well, maybe I do, but it'll just take a few minutes to think of it.
Brian brought home Halo 3 the other day. I never played the other two, except with my two brothers, who would either run through the co-op mode so fast that I didn't actually do anything, or they would completely and utterly submit me to their pwnage in multi-player. However, Halo 3 is proving to be a more funner (Jolene, it's there on purpose ;) experience, even though Brian stole a little of my joy by beating it on Heroic while I'm still struggling through normal and have just figured out that: a. those little helicopter thingies (correction: Hornets, courtesy of
halowiki.net) have rockets, and b. that you can hurt things a lot by whacking them with your gun, etc.
Speaking of gaming experience, I have one little bone to pick with Sims 2. I love the whole aspiration aspect of the game, but Lifetime Wants... hrmmm grrraaarowl. I hate that 80% of my sims want to be teachers, cops, or have 6 grandchildren. The reason I'm really irritated is that I have a sim who is great at cooking, and the only way to get "Become Celebrity Chef" as a lifetime want is to give that sim either a pleasure aspiration or a popularity aspiration, and even then it's only by a stroke of luck that she'll actually get that particular lifetime want. I mean, I'm not really interested in "50 First Dates" as a lifetime want. Pfftt. Okay, done griping.
